Belatedly, I am pleased to announce that my PhD advisee Quinn Packer was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award by the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering for the fall 2022 semester. He was the teaching assistant for Mechanics of Materials and Soil Mechanics. The students overwhelmingly mentioned how they appreciate how he showed concern and answered questions clearly and in a way that was most helpful. Congratulations, Quinn! You are well on your way to a successful career as a professor!
